I was there just last week. Stopped by Nelson Bros. for some food and hit up the Parkway Truck Wash out back. The food is always good and the crew at Parkway Truck Wash has always done a good job cleaning up the truck.

I had a couple fall through as well this week on my way to pick them up.As I was reading the part we’re you said that you parked at the J on Richey Rd I immediately start to think of everything I was going to write warning people from staying at that location.I frequented that location a lot when I had a hotshot years ago but I always parked out front in the bus parking by the Denny’s were I could watch my stuff from inside the store. What happened to you with the fuel is a recurring problem that has happened for years at that location and I’m sorry that it happened to you.Places to avoid for sure in H-town are the truck stops on Mcarthy rd,and the Love’s near downtown.

Good to hear you got something out of them and a decent load to help ease the sting. Yeah, locking fuel caps. I was a company driver, and I bought my own and saved the companies in the box for when I changed trucks are left. It only takes once to learn. The other thing you might want to do is keep finger nail polish remover around in case any of those thieves gets pissy. If they put super glue in the key lock, you can use the nail polish remover to soften it and put the key in to get it open. Been there and done that, also. :( The pain of that happening, is only slightly less aggravating that having the fuel stolen and ending up with the situation you ended up in, and you have the knowledge that you screwed their day up. :)

It has definitely been an ongoing issue with the truck stops in Houston. I have never parked at any of the truck stops and the one time I do something bad happens.

Yeah, exit 50 I believe? Unless they've renumbered them. :)
Yep, just checked...50A or B depending on direction. Google maps. The only good thing to come from them. :)

If they can’t keep it from leaking this time just weld the dam thing in and get new housings and all the next time.
