With a bush hog and loader 7000 lbs. But in my experience a lighter trailer just doesn't hold up. Plus this 1 ton is going to be more than enough to hold up. I'm planing on putting a dump on it.

@superhauler what do you think of the power in that v10? I've never been around one or know of anybody that does, but is it peppy and have good power?

Not bad at all. It don't have the tourqe of a Cummins but it will get the job done. 8 liters. I'm not going to be running long distances with it, just around town.

My excavator with spare fuel tank is about 11k, my old beat up 94 f350 dump pulled it okay...but it was on a 10k trailer and I can say that trailer wasn't pleased.

The fuel is gonna be a killer with that V10. I had a 5.9L V8 in a half ton. I was lucky to get better than 15 mpg out of the dang thing driving like an old lady lol.

Still sharp looking truck. The best looking bodystyle was the '94 to '02 Rams IMO.

I'd take that in my F250, around 12mpg around Town and 16 on the Road and I start easy and play out Lights

    Mine's a 14 and loves Gas!

When I'm Plowing, 4 to 5mpg seems to be the number

When I'm pulling the skid steer or loads of hay I'm down in the 3-4 mpg range
