Where did you run into a soap storm?

 

Paccar runs them all the same whether single or dual, outside or under-hood. The cabs are all plumbed the same before they are mounted onto the frame.

That's the point. Within a couple years they couldn't give away used trucks with the maxfart engine, and no o/o or small company was buying new ones either. Their only market was megas, which mostly went to FL for various reasons. If they offered a 9900ix eagle as a glider kit, which would have been more affordable than KW or Pete, it would have been a big seller.

During that time I was working for a small company hauling fuel. Every new truck they bought for 3 years was a FL glider. They couldn't afford to have problem trucks.

 

I need one of those in a bad way.

I think we'd all like to beat the crap out of an engineer. Doesn't matter which, any random engineer will do.

 

Bring it....spent 26 years working in it in one form or another..... first job was making swing arms for kenworth trucks
