I believe that in AB if you are hourly paid and called into work after you go home then you are to be paid a minimum 4 hours at time and a half.
That is why some smart owners will pay for an half hour delivered meal as well as the time on duty at time and a half or will give time off in lieu for unscheduled overtime. The meal is/was required after 10 hour or after 6 hours without a break unless your union has negotiated something different.
Please note my info is more than 5 years old and most was gleaned while delivering to feed mills that broke down. I saw 1 guy get 4 hours OT to come in to reset 5 breakers in sequence and 3 guys got fed on the company dime and 3 hour OT to clear a plugged leg and finish unloading me.
Where is everyone #5

I knew companies had to pay minimum 4 hours if they send an employee home early through no fault of the employee. This is new info I did not know, thanks!Crusader66, DeereRunner97, Brettj3876 and 6 others Thank this.

No loves has paccar filters? Also what are you typically spending on oil changes and intervals? Pen to paper said letting loves do it saved me about 50 dollars using oe filters and rotella.
I'll be switching back to 10w30 after what I saw on the old Facebook.
Apparently 15w40 and cold temps along with a bit too much skookum with a wrench can end up shattering the filter housing cap.

Around $400, depends on where I am. That's all Paccar filters, Delo 10w30 which is half synthetic, plus grease and such. I aim for TAs because we get a discount.
Lately every place I stop, they either don't have the oil or some filters. I'm at the TA in Barstow now, going on 6 hrs waiting to get in because they actually have everything.
BTW, I know the book says 15w40 is approved for the MX, but these engines were designed to be run with 10w30 and at least a synthetic blend. I do oil changes every 20k mi, never had engine problems and very rare emissions issues...

I'm seeing a hand calculated 5.9 but I also run 70-75. If I opt for just the oil change and not the pm since I generally do the rest on my own anyway when checking brakes etc etc and it's about 265 I think last time I did it. Price I'm sure will change with switching to Delo over rotella. I'm looking at a 25k interval but may adjust that depending how the oil looks.Crusader66, Swine hauler, BigBob410 and 10 others Thank this.

Actually it was pretty good, just needed more of it. I gained so much weight after the death if my husband this summer that my sons decided that precooked keto
meals would be a good way to slim down. So far so good, but I sure do miss bread and butter. Tonight's meal was grilled chicken with cheese sauce, grilled veggies, spinach and tomatoes, with wanna be mashed potatoes, ie mashed cauliflower. I also have an app that counts steps for my daily exercise.Crusader66, Swine hauler, Espressolane and 13 others Thank this. -
