Wherever warehouse 18 is. And I'm still here, just got loaded. 12 hrs sitting around waiting in lines.
I've loaded at the Ports in Savannah and Tacoma, delivered to Jacksonville, wasn't bad. This place is a total disorganized cluster...Crusader66, cke, Brettj3876 and 11 others Thank this. -

Wait until you bring an "in bond" load into Houston and you have to get the bond signed off at the bond office at 2350 beltway 8 before you can go to the port of Houston to unload. It is a joy, you park in a driving lane on the frontage road north of the building and walk in to the doors on the south side then go to the 6th floor and hand in your paper packet through a window in a small room with mailboxes on one wall. wait 10 to 30 min for some drone to stamp your copies and the ports copies then troupe back down and you then take beltway 8 around to I-10 and go east to Sheldon road and south to the port. then find the right office (of at least 5) to turn in your paperwork after the stevedores decide to unload you and where it goes.
I hauled probably 30 "in bond" loads into there, mostly 6axle OSOW in the late 90's and early 2000's.SL3406, Crusader66, cke and 15 others Thank this. -
