Give me something young so it's tender. Not a big rack and tough as shoe leather

Well, here's the thing. Our society has turned hunting into a sport. It's no longer relied upon as food as hasn't been for a very long time. For what most folks spend a year to get a deer, they could have just bought a beef. Do you know how much money out of sate guys spend to come here to shoot an elk? It's alot. Some I've talked to spend around $10k. That's insane. Food is all about the least calories out and the most in. I could care less about sportsmanship. I want food. I shoot ducks on the water too. I'm not trying to make it any harder than it already is.

You should goto south America. Stupid big spiders down there. Ugh
I hate spiders and snakes. You know what sucks.....being chased by them....literally. it's happened more than I want to admit. A camel spider will chase you down. So will some vipers. Not cool.

Australia has a mix of crappy critters. Most of which want to kill you. I don't miss that place at all!

It's like the city slicker rich guy that bought 800 some acres next door. Started a hunting club with his rich friends. If it was brown it was down. Now it's died down for the last 5 years were finally starting to see a lot more deer around. They put a hurting on the population killing all the does.

Yeah, we don't have that Herr. We just have the idiots that invade the national forest every year. They have a six figure motor home, an enclosed trailer to pull their sxs and never get off the sxs to actually walk. They just push the critters around. Or, the pos outfitters that claim vast swaths of public land as their own and take control of any campground nearby. Screw those guys too. I hate outfitters about as much as I hate out of state hunters/fishermen!

LOL a surefire way to get one on opening day on public land is get there way early before all the out of town people show up at 5-6am. They'll push em right back to you.

Yeah, our land here is different than yours. The vast majority of out land is public. I think only like 20% of land in Idaho is private. So the critters just go deeper into the bush. Problem there is alot of critters have figures out they don't want to be in NF anymore. The alfalfa fields are alot easier. Abundant food, no wolves, no hunters, and abundant water.
