I'm not very affluent in electrical systems, and even when I do learn something, I usually forget it since I go years from one event to another lol. I know on my Pete, the CECU controls the gauges and they are known to be flakey and go bad. Not familiar with International, or how a bad one would cause loss of communication to the ECM, especially if you still have the correct resistance in the can ports (I thought one resistor was actually in the ecm?).
