At the Casey's in waterloo. Went to get fuel and kid says the pumps arent working. Swell, i really need fuel tonight. He says they were real slow this morning so he just turned then off. That sucks I says, when are they gonna fix them. Kid says I dunno, I haven't said anything yet. FML.....are you for real. People are worthless.

Your a brave man. I haven't stopped or eaten anything in Gary in about 15 years. It was a crap hole/shoot then. Can't imagine it's much better now.

 

Sometimes when the pumps get real slow, its because the tanks are about m/t. He probably did you a favor by not sucking in the tank dregs. Conversely, never fuel while the tanker's fillin them tanks up, stirring up the dregs...

 

Well @cke , wings in the airfryer. Not promising anything, but I made an effort.


Edit: should have made twice as many. Otherwise not too bad. Just had to eat a few rice crispy treats to make up the difference....lol.

 

Yeah, regardless of the reason.....why would you go your whole shift and not say anything to management? That's just dumb.

Yeah, seems these times just suck all around. The good thing about getting older is now I can cuss kids for being useless. Only thing is, I'm not old enough for people to just not care when I do....lol. seems I'm still an a-hole and I expect too much.....I guess.

 

Gotta question for the fellas here.
I usually buy the dickies canvas pants. However, they changed the design last year. Now they are thinner and stretchy and more expensive. Plus the crotch is higher now. Seems like they are trying to sell hipster pants and they suck now! I don't wear jeans and haven't for prolly 20 years. I have some Filson pants, but I don't think they are 3x the pants for the price. So, has anybody ever tried the double logger wild ass jean from Bailey's? They are supposed to be tough and are suspender capable. The price is right too. I've eyed them out for years, but never tried them.

Might pull the connectors apart on the firewall and make sure there isn't green crusty's living in there.
