I had a '53 Power Wagon back in the late '70's. Someone before me replaced the flat 6 with a chevy 283. I plowed with it for a while, but kept blowing out the clutch disc springs as it only had a little 9" disc. I had to keep a few on the shelf. Got to where pop and I could change out the clutch in record time. We used to put a 4x4 across the inside cab, resting on the door/window sills, along with a rope attached to the trans and just unbolt, swing/slide it out, and let it hang there. It had a huge hand crank winch in the bed, used that to pull engines out with the cable hung from a stout tree branch. The 4wd setup was different than most. Out by the front wheels, no u-joints or even the old leaky Ford style oil bath setup, but merely two huge hardened steel knuckles encased in grease. Top speed was about 45, and yeah it would sing going up the road. The two stacks were kinda ghetto, but cool to see in the mirror on a cold morning. I sold it in the late 80's, shoulda kept it, but I still have the '86 Pete 362. Sorry for the grainy picture..

And me lol, Blueberry is my favorite…. -
Same here. When I was little my grandma would pick gallons of blueberries and then freeze them. I would just eat them frozen. She would goto great lengths to hide them from me so she had enough to cook with. It never worked. She thought she had a years supply every year. In reality, it was like 2 months worth.....lol
Funny thing is, I still do it. My wife gets them, freezes them and then I eat them. It's a viscious cycle.....lol.clausland, tramm01, DeereRunner97 and 9 others Thank this.
