Sorry to hear this! That sucks!
My buddy was in his old A model Kenworth couple years ago napping. Driver came through the parking lot (daylight), and made a left turn around Jim’s truck which was on the end of the row. Trailer tandems busted the right front fender as well as destroying the right side of the bumper.
Driver was 61 years old, and had been driving for 18 months….

Oh, well must not pertain to me then, I don’t say much to myself…. Out loud
-
Yup, same here, only what's required nothing more. No xtra letters, numbers, sayings, names, police stickers, etc, nothing. Heck, I don't even have what's required (except IFTA, HUT & Inspection decals) on the truck paint, info required is on a side plate mounted on the truck..CAXPT, cke, Brettj3876 and 5 others Thank this.

Man that sucks, sorry to hear that. I know its tough for you OTR guys/gals, but I avoid entering and remaining in "Accident (truck) Stops" as much as possible, just get in and get out. Is the truck still driveable?

Began trucking in a 1971 international transtar.

Had I not seen the picture, I would have been wondering if you meant a 4070 A model, a Transtar 400, or a 4200/4300 version lol. 4070A it is….BigBob410, BackwoodsGA, Gatordude and 7 others Thank this. -
They all look the same.Last edited: Mar 15, 2022
CAXPT, Isafarmboy, beastr123 and 2 others Thank this. -
Just happy I had the moose pusher. If not, I would have been on the hook right now. Would have lost the Radiator, cac, hood and fender. I just don't understand the go fast in the parkinglot crowd. If your backing into a spot, why do you need your foot in it? Who the hell is gonna take your spot while your backing in? What's the frigging hurry? I despise with a passion most drivers these days. They are the reason for the stereotype!

Yeah, it's all good. Just stupid people doing stupid things. I'm gonna make his insurance replace the moose pusher out of principle. Dude hit my truck so hard half of me landed on the floor and my head went into my fridge. Seriously, what's that danged important?
Edit: I'm hoping to change the otr thing when I move. Hoping.pete781693, Gatordude, CAXPT and 10 others Thank this.
