With the insane truck prices these seem somewhat sane. Spruce em up a bit and make a few on a quick flip

Nice finds. I'm peeved, because a Sterling I've had my eye on getting, just last week disappeared from my Watch List. Coffin Sleeper, CAT 13 with 980k(?) 2006 for $16,000. Was looking at getting something together and it went bye bye.
PoleCrusher, cke, clausland and 3 others Thank this. -
That 2000 condo could probably be had for 20k. Spec'd nice too. 18sp 3.65 on tall rubber. 380 maxidyne 1560tq
That 94 for 19.5 looks super clean and sounds really good there's 2 vids. That one probably won't last longPoleCrusher, cke, shooter19802003 and 3 others Thank this. -
Yeah, looked at that 2000, but I have an issue with pics that don't let me zoom in and inspect closer, and some of the stuff I saw on that, that I could see without being able to zoom didn't appeal to me.
Though I like that 94 for 19.5 I'm concerned about that damaged back end at the top of the sleeper..I see possible leakage and water damage possible in that cab that might entail more investment and require major work before hitting the road. I guess a quick seal of some sort would make it usable until later, but...eh....but it still looks good and that 95 also, though they don't show the sleeper area that's concerning.
Prices are higher than they would be, but more realistic for a starter. Again, if I had the property and facility to do that kind of work, I'd be more than happy to try that, but alas, it has to be more road worthy and at this point, that means high prices.
I was going to take a trip now that the weather was better on my Harley to go look at that Sterling. I have one more to look at, but it's a lot higher priced.
Thanks, though. I've added them to my Watch List should things change here.PoleCrusher, cke, clausland and 3 others Thank this. -
It's like some of these people don't even look at the picture quality just slap it up there. Or the people who only post like 5 crappy pics. I'd have to look at that real good too. If it's leaking it must smell really good Lol. I wish our 93 had the elite interior package like that 2000 does.
When we flew down to Texas to look at the 93 it looked totally different in person and the pics were from at least a few years old before the paint got baked in the Texas heat. We pulled in the yard with the owner picking us up from the hotel. Me and my dad looked over at each other with that look "#### we flew down here for this Lol".PoleCrusher, CAXPT, cke and 6 others Thank this. -
No just dumping for fill, and on level from what I heard. My understanding it was basically shot rock sized material from a big hammer, and was loaded heavy on the front left. I was told the loader told the driver to check the load to see if it needed adjusted… it’s fine was his response.
Once the bed goes up and it starts to lean it’s usually to late.
I’ve rode with this young man, he made me nervous rolling down a mountain Jakes on and wearing the brakes out at the same time, while passing all the other trucks…. -
Nice ,I had a 71 for a couple of years, then a 70 FLH both kick only.
Got a 2002 FLHTC now . At 66 years old I don't know if I could kick
this one over , especially when it's been drinking. Lol.BigBob410, beastr123, PoleCrusher and 10 others Thank this. -
Looks like some type of mag ?BigBob410, PoleCrusher, CAXPT and 4 others Thank this.

Yea I don’t know if I could do much kicking either anymore lol. Fortunately my Shovelhead has electric as well as kick start. Hopefully this year I may get it out of mothballs and give it new life, been setting in the house for at least 10 years now.
I pulled a dumb trick and let a coworker ride it. He made it 2 miles and laid it down, broke my heart…..beastr123, BigBob410, PoleCrusher and 15 others Thank this. -
Well…yesterday turned out to be an excellent day. Took the group out riding, ran into some small town chili cook off. Always an enjoyable time. WARNING: In case you’ve never done one, get the ones advertising Heat last. And have your beer close on standby.
Tug Toy, BigBob410, PoleCrusher and 13 others Thank this.
