Did he pay for repairs?

 

Love the look of that bike. Does it have a compression release for the kick. One of my old Suzuki quad sport 230 has one otherwise it's hard as hell to kick

Good morning.

 

I helped the boys rebuild an old vehicle of their choice. They had to put up half of the money and 75% of the labor. We rebuilt from the ground up, overhauled all moving parts and finally painted and reupholstered the cab area. Loud steroes were all on them. They all picked different years and vintages of Chevy trucks. They were all done for their 16th birthdays, but since they were born in March and April, they decided to borrow the steel beater car until summer came. They still have these trucks and still talk about the build process. My middle son did this with this son and my oldest had 3 out of 5 girls who wanted to do this and did so. (No sexism in my family.) Huge learning opportunity and great building of coming adult relationships. I strongly suggest it.

It seems like there are alot of good deals out there on those smaller flattop sleeper, single stack macks. I've been looking at those. If I do end up localish/regional, I will get rid of this. So I've been looking at my options. I've just been looking to pass the time, because that's still a ways out.....and who knows if it will even happen. I've noticed alot of them down in Texas. All oil field tanker yankers.

 

Gave me a $100 gift card before heading back to Missouri and never returning…..

Still have a unfinished Chevy in the shop, engine been on the stand for 11 years? All new chrome grill, door handles, headlight rings, new door seals and windshield rubber as well as back glass rubber setting in the basement for it. Just another project after the Jeep is done. Still had the original AM radio in it….
