If I was retired, I would stay that way.

 

That's part of it. The other part is all these.... I don't know how to say it PC.... that are hauling cheap freight, trying to run a million miles a week to make a profit.

 

Unfortunately, with the economy and my waiting until I'm full age to collect, the money is starting to ...be needed. Only have about a year more to wait for full SS collection, IF it's still solvent when I start to collect.

 

A small piece of rubber in the tailgate latch with a drop or 2 of weatherstrip adhesive does wonders for a single trip.
Yes a small bucket of fill rock near the front of the box tames the ride and noise

 

I used to have a stencil that said "hook tractor other end and sprayed it mirrored on the right edge of a certain Canadian freight companies trailers who had a checkerboard pattern on the back.
You could see trailers all over Canada who had 1 black square repainted
