    Lol.
Well, this is the first time I've been here. The hard part was getting here. Between accidents and road closures, I had to circle the block and the back down 43rd. Good times. The loading actually went well. Loaded and tarped in about 2.5 hours. Appt was at 1000. Really can't complain about that part. Loader was a nice guy. I just hate the net. Wtf Is that a good idea. Can't be on top of the flat load to tarp. You gotta skirt around the 2" edge and rub rail and hold on to.....pretty much nothing. Just hoping for the best. Yeah.....way better idea than just walking on that flat load. Thanks for saving me from myself.

Head has to come off and either spring for a new head, find someone to reman this one, or buy a used one (which includes the entire rest of the engine).

What engine? And look at the valves in the seats when you get the head off.

Is that by chance the exhaust valves and they are different elevations…?

    Paccar MX13.

Exhaust valves yes. The left one is setting higher in the head than the right, which is setting at normal height. The fix is to install a new valve seat on that valve and check valve recession etc etc.

Problem being not many shops have much experience with it. From what I understood the guy at the machine shop tell me these heads can't be surfaced. If it's warped more than .001 it's junk.

That would be fun. Was watching the hunt for Shackleton's Endurance the other night. Busting through 5ft of ice
