Sounds like some things have changed around that place. Then it’s been maybe 8-10 years now since I had to go there.

Prolly not. I was only 1 of 2 guys there at the time. When I was leaving , there was a line of guys waiting.....and none looked too thrilled about it.

We barely scratched the surface today. My ADD was in high overdrive.

Stopped by the Brunner display, had to wipe up my drool. Got so mesmerized I forgot pics.

Oh well. It is what it is. Going Monday to pick up the other engine and get it to the house and get the head off of it. Check what that engine is going to need. Swap heads next week to get my truck rolling again. Sell the ecm and turbo to recoup the cost of the engine. Get my head fixed and overhaul the new engine. Sell it as a 0 mile overhaul with paperwork and split the profits with my mechanic. Makes this downtime and head pay for its self.

New engine was pushing water, either its a sunk liner or the compressor. If it's the compressor then that's an easy fix and sell it as a pull out.

I started out with the intention to do something like that. Only I kept everything "just in case", and then replaced most of that with new "because I don't trust it to last", and then kept THAT "just in case". So now I have a dry van full of truck parts for my kids to deal with when I die.
