Holy cow @cke , your way more industrious than me. Makes me feel like crap....thanks. :p

I just went to town and spent a bunch of money today. New saw came in. It's really nose heavy because light bars are on indefinite back order. Tried to locate a tsumara light bar for it.... no luck there.....nobody has stock. Frigging sucks. Guy says he will prolly not see another (r)cm saw for years. You wanna guess where stihl sources its electronics? Times up. Frigging Ukraine of all places! So, dealers are trying to get carb Saws and not getting them either. So, pretty much stock on hand from here on out apparently.

    Yep what @tramm01 posted
You got a good one at least.

The old 038 mag has only only had a sparkplug or 2 in 30 years. 90 degrees or 0 it starts 3 pulls. Like a triple flick bic

Thanks. Honestly it was a toss up. Never been a husky guy, but the new 572 is supposed to be a darn good saw and there is stock. Found this one a 500i and a 661rcm. The 500 hasn't been out long enough for me to trust it yet and the 661 is quite a bit heavier than what I wanted to Lug all day. The only reason I lumped the 661 in the first place was price. It's Ike $150 more and alot more saw. A few friends run them. However, after picking up this side by side. I went with the 462 hands down. Now to try and track down a tsumara light bar for it.

Never had an 038. Had an 044 and a 066. Both darn good saws, but way heavy compared to this, plus I imagine the AV alone on this will be worth it.

I got the 362 a while back- love it for what I do, but kinda wish I would’ve gone bigger

I've ran a 362. It's a darn good saw too. I just needed (wanted) something bigger. If you port it and muffler mod it, that 362 will really come alive!
