Syrup on top of the eggs is good too. Saves having to dip the eggs. Just saying. Lol.

"Work when you want to" I said. "Get some things done around the place and tinker in the workshop" I said. "Charge enough so every yahoo won't ask you to do stoopid stuff" I said.
64 billable hours last week, not counting travel time.
Partial retirement is turning out to be a lot of work.

Had a very late dinner or an exceptionally early breakfast, 0010hrs, with neighbors. They wanted to know when I was coming home. Good question, didn't have any answer.

Sorry I’m running late — on top of the northwest still being all over the truck my delivery in La Vergne was a dang mud pit

Oh, and I got a lovely crack in the windshield that I’m working on

I'm working by myself at the pit yesterday early am. Truck comes in and loads himself, I spoke with the driver last week- just got hired, middle age guy. I'm pulling out a bit later- where he loaded at the 3" rock pile there's a little pile, then a trail to the scale, a little pile on the scale, trail out the exit road and on up the county asphalt past my turnoff. o_O
Dump truck is a whole lot easier than flatbed to secure the load- but a fellow has gotta latch the gate!!!!!!

Yup. People think that since you're semi retired they can make more demands on your time. Gotta educate them a little.
