One thing I do when looking at load boards, is always look at their score and days to pay. I hauled a load of rail for Bennet a few years back, they paid like gangbusters, very impressed. Hauled another load for them recently, thought I was gonna have to put my go to hell hat on and knock on their door, way over the usual time. But I’d still haul for them if $$ is right like before…

Let me know what they find. I'm assuming the guy checked that as I told him the symptoms I was having and he looked it over and didn't find anything.
I try to diagnose things before throwing parts at it, its been looked at by more than one person and they dont see anything wrong. The alignment was out but who knows how long its been that way, long enough to cause tire wear issues which could lead to what im dealing with currently. The tires have some cupping and irregular wear on them and are just cheap tires to begin with.
What has me confused is the fact that it's not a steady shake. It's entirely dependant on loaded or not and bobtail or not. It's got new shocks as well. Only thing I personally haven't done is pull axles and check bearings or yokes.PoleCrusher, cke, CAXPT and 3 others Thank this. -
Congrats! The nerves will settle down after a couple loads are delivered.
Main thing to remember is that you are the Boss. Don't take any crap from anyone if you know that you're right about whatever may pop up. To me that's the icing on the cake running my own numbers.
Good luck and if you make it to the Midwest we'll keep an eye out for you.Feedman, PoleCrusher, cke and 4 others Thank this. -
I honestly don't even remember. That was about 15 years back.PoleCrusher, cke, BigBob410 and 3 others Thank this.

thanks. thats something ive thought about alot is i need to stand my ground more especially when it comes to negotiating and people persuading me to do something. i always end up on the bad side of that. i am young and still learning and made alot of mistakes leased on as owner op. but im glad i have that knowledge and experience to build from and just focused on going forward from here.

Congrats on getting rolling.
I believe you'll do ok. Seems like you worked hard to get where you're at, and #### what ever nonsense any passive aggressive mouth flappers have to say about how you go about running your own show. -
thanks man . i agree. i just know from experience i spent so much time working i forgot to think about what i was doing and look forward and plan things out. just trying to change that now. move strategically and in the direction towards the bigger picture of where i want to go. i made mistakes in applying for my authority and it cost me a month or more of downtime then it should. cant afford to make those mistakes anymore so im taking my time with everything. even if some see me as just sitting on my ### . thats ok they dont see the full picture.Tug Toy, jamespmack, Feedman and 9 others Thank this.

I won't cast any stones at you for mistakes. I've made a few, most notably letting my truck "sit" for too long. I start it up and move it regularly, but the day I picked up my trailer it started throwing DEF codes, went into 10% derate, and today when I fired it up it went into full derate mode. Wouldn't be surprised if I've got some corroded NOX sensors and who knows what else. But, is what it is and I'll have to deal with it.
It's not that we make mistakes, it's that we learn from them and move forward.
Also, you are correct, nobody else here sees the full picture just what they see through the snapshots of what you share on a forum.
There's a reason why I don't talk a whole lot about my operation, why I'm doing it or where I intend to go with it. Nobody's business but my own, and I try to not invite too much mind numbing ignorance from the fools of the court.jamespmack, IH9300SBA, Feedman and 10 others Thank this.
