No offense to OLDSKOOLERnWV, but I doubt he would want to take on such a task. Not that all new drivers are bad or don't listen. Just saying most don't want to take on today's generation or even mineIf he ever does take on your idea, @OLDSKOOLERnWV, I call dibs on being one of your trainees provided the lady of the household approves
Eventually anyways if you ever did lol. Still gotta get my two years minus the time I've got in so far
Oh BTW OLDSKOOLERnWV....after we left that place there in Huntington that we delivered, I was the one driving from there. Talk about gut wrenching. You know when you pull out, take a left, and then take a left at that first light over the RR tracks to get to the interstate and there is that bridge that is 13' 6" clearance and it says trucks to interstate under that bridge?? Yeah I had a mini heart attack LOL. And then once you get to the end of that road where you start getting uphill there is that curve with construction over there? I think I was driving like 3 MPH through there it was do darn tight! Oh my heart was pounding!!!!!jamespmack, CAXPT, cke and 4 others Thank this. -
"Will you stop this lazing around and get back to work. You are needed out there."
I got this same speech 12 hours after surfacing from a 7 day forced coma after 2 seperate operations to install 3 stents after they jump started me on the helicopter and again in the hospital. I can only hope that you take this "speech" with the same grain of salt I did and with the same sense of humor that I did.jamespmack, Flint1, CAXPT and 9 others Thank this. -

Let me guess, the all knowing trainer with his pearls of wisdom suggested you go that way? That brings you out to the 5th street exit.
When you pulled out of the dock, if you turned left on to 7th ave, then turned right at the light, go over 2 blocks and turn left, it is a straight shot to the next exit towards Kentucky. So much easier than all that BS you had to go through…! Sure like to set down and exchange wits with that guy….
You know, when some of us started driving there was no electronic BS. We had (and still do) an Atlas, and enough sense to stop and call the number on the BOL, plus you learnt a lot just talking to other drivers along the way, that had been in the area you were headed. It really has changed…..Speedy356, jamespmack, Flint1 and 14 others Thank this. -

Please note, I am Bee's son number three, and not the Marine, son number two.
Why would I differentiate? Son number two broke Mom's nose last night. Not on purpose of course, but just goofing around. This morning there is nowhere on her face that is not bruised.
Hmm, I should check the glass and make sure they can't toss him through the glass.jamespmack, CAXPT, beastr123 and 5 others Thank this.
