I try to stay pretty flexible. I read the ratecon and then made the mistake on reading google reviews on the shipper. I did this load with a slight chip on my shoulder most of the way. Despite the broker claiming Macropoint was working, I texted until I got a new link and could see the load on the app and was able to take screenshots.

I wouldn't not haul it again, however, I will make sure to 1- stipulate detention pay rate, 2-stipulate that anything over 2 hours at the shipper will require flexibility to reschedule the delivery time.

Being detained over 5 hours until after 3:00 pm with delivery 600 miles away at 9am sharp had it's challenges. Despite that I adjusted what time I started my day 2 days prior since I'm on ELD, any more detention would have effed my day up and the risk/reward needed to reflect that.in a more balanced way.

I told dispatch if I was going to be late I was just taking the load home for the weekend so I could get my money's worth out of the penalties lol.

If them are aluminum on aluminum brackets in good condition. I would have zero concern. Never even straped them. I dont know what model of Pete your getting. But if its fiberglass like a Kw 680. They ##### detach at about 42mph. Go across 3 lanes and messes up the side of a mini van pretty bad.

VNL VOLVOS TOO. And anything with previous damage no rear tow.

W900,379,389,Classic, Century, Coronado normally just fine. Some might have upper glass extensions to watch.

And I give you a reminder. Double check you don't leave axle chains or light bar behind either.

Not here telling you how to do anything. I might be just be offering some first hand experience!

Had to look twice, that is a vintage unit!

Homemade, or kinda has "Holmes" style which is about the same. Looks good for age.
