There is a Marathon? truck stop right down the street. Every time I've delivered or picked up there it's been a pretty quick affair.

 

Thanks. It's a Roady's now. Parked at the truckstop. Walked to the scale and asked. Had to watch a video and take a test for a permit. Back at the truck waiting for daylight.

How should I log the walk and testing time???????

Can't recall for sure, but you may have to watch a short safety film and get a picture badge your first time in there in the construction trailer up where you enter. Pretty sure this was at SDI. IIRC the lanes are marked for new guys and just park and go in.

Yes you should always wait until 10pm to call and ask if the other person will sing at the funeral. Everyone in the area turns with eyebrows raised and mouth open and looks at me. Sure I can do Amazing Grace. Oh she says, can you close the funeral with that -Cajun song-? You know the one I mean. Grinding teeth, yes I can do that too.

How long can the funeral last, 2 hours tops?

 

Pack a lunch. Loaded out of there numerous times.
