I delivered a hoisting spreader to a project at Ft McMurray one time. I was in the guard shack watching videos and filling out multiple choice questionnaires longer than it took to be escorted to the back of the project, unload the piece and leave.

That would be a good day if you could load them somewhere else.

Funeral with rude relations is over.
He always wondered how his sweet wife could come from people like that.

The whole bunch are going to take Little Man swimming and tanning. I am going to take a nap.

Greetings everyone! We get back from swimming and she tells me to hurry and get dressed. Wife's first test because she is caring for Little Man.

Uncle Mac looks at her as if to say where are you going. She tugs her hair and he nods. This is a language they did not teach in the Corps.

She looks at me and says when we get there pick up a magazine and thumb through it slowly. Don't join or react to the conversation.

We pull up on front of the barber shop! Not what I was expecting.

They hug and she sits down in the spare chair. What do I need to watch for, she asks. He waits and finally says, they think they are owed money for the boy. Interesting is all Mom says. She slides an envelope over to him, good tip for a good hair cut. Then slides her card to him and asks that if she needs another haircut he should call. They hug and we walk out.

My dad had meetings like this when he worked for the feds, but I didn't know Mom had it down so well.

    Time to pack and vacate.

Lemme guess — just a one time fee of $18.95 for this stacked sandwich?
