I was putting the new high voltage cable in the ground for the Mobile river draw bridge back when this pic was taken. Old crossties can be your enemy when buried in soft areas. I was coming around the head wall of the bridge with the ditch, and the concrete was winged out under the ground, made for a bad situation. Took another excavator we had rented, and the brother to my yellow truck to get it out. This is where I was working when Hurricane Katrina came in….
