The lawn mower took a dump yesterday, rods a knocking. 21.5hp Briggs doesn't even have 300 hours on it, 7 years old. Looking on marketplace I found the same model, same 46in deck but with a 24hp V twin for 400 obo. Needs a belt and a carb kit the owner said. Going to look at it later

    Speaking of shoulder injuries:

Helped out a young Man a couple months ago, 135lb guy whose dream was to bench 225. Warned him about shoulder injuries. Saw him Saturday. He tells me that he finally got 225, but his left shoulder is killing him.

    How often do you bench?

    “Twice a week.”

    How often do you military?

    “Twice a week.”

You’re gonna blow your shoulder out and you will be sidelined 6 months. I warned you that this would happen the closer you got to 300lbs on bench. You need to cut back.

“But I have made so many gains! I have gotten so much stronger doing it my way!”

The heavier the weight, the more recovery will be necessary. Do you want a second opinion?

    “…………(crickets chirping)…….”

(Took him around and asked a couple of 30-40 year olds about shoulder injuries. They started talking about surgeries and cortisone shots. Obviously young Man didn’t want to hear them.)

“Wow…I sure hope that doesn’t happen to me!”

(Okay, I give up. I don’t have a dog in the fight, so why am I concerned?)

So, when I post pics like this, people get ill and threaten to contact the admin. Isn’t anyone else appalled at the apparent example of bestiality? BTW, she looks constipated.

My Buddy just had his leave oil all over his yard. Less than 100 hours. Just over or under three years old. They wouldn’t honor warranty because he didn’t have proof of what happened. He said the proof is all over the yard and asked if he was supposed to video record every mowing just in case something happens. He was pretty mad.

They don't make em like they used to. The old one lasted 20 years. I'll offer 350 for this one and have a spare deck/tires/weights to go with it.

It didn't progressively get worse it just happened all at once

I've started putting a lot more focus on my shoulders the last few weeks. They're my weak point. Higher reps/lighter weight than normal. Really starting to notice they don't get as tender or sore after heavy bench pressing.

I've also cut my gym time in half from about 5-6 hours a week to about 2-3. Just too busy with yard work. That yard work gives a good burn too though. I moved about thirty 2 foot by 2 foot concrete pads by hand to the back yard. Great forearm workout.
