Kids okay?

 

They are doing fine for now. They aren’t sick and don’t know what’s going on with mom right now. Just want to keep them happy for now.

 

Well, second time in my career I’ve been woken up late by P/FJ while parked in a non-reserved spot… two popo and a worker moving trucks for the reserved crowd.


Aha, #### y’all too.

 

Unloaded in Grand Junction this morning. Rolled towards Farmington by way of Moab. Love the drive.

Loaded this crazy heavy load of pipe headed for WI. Enjoyed todays drive, over Wolf Creek Pass, and up towards Denver on 285. Even saw a moose just north of Fairplay right at dark.

Made dinner with this view.

Friends with land in South Dakota, we/I own land in Oregon. Wyoming for birds or sheep? I don't hunt something I won't eat, so much for the sheep. As for birds, I would rather spend the time hunting and hang out with friends in SD.

 

Elk and Antelope mostly.

 

In 50 years or so of hunting, I have never hunted Antelope. There is game that had a better pay out in filling the freezer verses time and energy spent hunting for said creature.

 

Well Dads old ride has quickly became the favorite truck at my buddys farm. No body wants to drive anything else.
