When I was at H&W, we were governed to 65. But that was a good while back.

I crawled under and made an adjustment that allowed me to pull harder on the upside, made a little difference in my point to point time.

You can’t crawl under and make any adjustments, so just keep that left door shut and you will make it. Course you got more ponies now than I had then then….:)

i figured if a fella can’t or won’t tighten his straps he certainly won’t put mudflaps on the trailer

So I kept my mouth shut on 19 and said “good riddance” as I got off the next exit

    Nope
I worked with a guy on the Key Lake mine road in 81 that took out 4 valve stems lifting 108k on sugar sand with 2 inches of crushed granite and a short 6% grade with a shiny 290 and a 13 on 5.29 gears. One hop with diff-lock on and pop. We then spent 3 hours singling out 2 trailer axles and putting our spares that we had left on his drives.

We there are those guys. Worked with one that could F-up a fire hydrant with a rubber mallet if you didn't watch him close.

Glad those ugly wagon wheels are more or less obsolete now. Haven't seen anything with those newer than about 2002.

2000 they were still standard for Ohio school busses on IH chassis. IH had to raise the price of them and lower uni mounts for them to be standard option in 2001 to the school districts. Some kept ordering them. Are kids are number one! Cheap MF's.

I almost took a Transportation Director job for a district once. I'm really glad that didn't workout.
