Fuel ends up the same both ways, the airline is hilly, and last time I was thru, rough. I'm probably going Houlton, I spent 8hrs in Kingstree so Friday delivery is out. I'll stay Sunday at Murrys and head down Monday morning to Saint John. No real truck stop in Saint John with a restaurant, may get my truck washed across the road.

 

That truck needs to be cleaned up and saved.

 

What happened to the Irving at Rothesay? Until it closed I always camped by the inn next to the 4 Corners Irving. I know a few people out in that area from back in the day before the new highway, and a few more from there I met out west. That’s how my old race bike ended up over in Petitcodiac.

 

I have a set of see tru flaps on my tractor! Cuts the spray way down.


That has to have straps on it @stwik, don't it? Looks like the plastic orange Vboards are up there. Could just me my eyes.

 

I remember seeing a new truck at the Western Star dealer around 2002 with aluminum drives and wagon wheels on the steer axle. Last new truck I ever saw with them.

 

We did better tonight.

 

Hudson Bay Transport was fanatical about them. Probably the late 90’s before they gave them up. Not bad enough they had to drive purple FLD’s, put Manitoba Mags on them and ugly them right up.

 

I've seen a few of those old trucks roaming around. Pretty beat by now.
