Fuel ends up the same both ways, the airline is hilly, and last time I was thru, rough. I'm probably going Houlton, I spent 8hrs in Kingstree so Friday delivery is out. I'll stay Sunday at Murrys and head down Monday morning to Saint John. No real truck stop in Saint John with a restaurant, may get my truck washed across the road.

What happened to the Irving at Rothesay? Until it closed I always camped by the inn next to the 4 Corners Irving. I know a few people out in that area from back in the day before the new highway, and a few more from there I met out west. That’s how my old race bike ended up over in Petitcodiac.cke, CAXPT, Elroythekid and 3 others Thank this.

Hudson Bay Transport was fanatical about them. Probably the late 90’s before they gave them up. Not bad enough they had to drive purple FLD’s, put Manitoba Mags on them and ugly them right up.cke, CAXPT, jamespmack and 4 others Thank this.

I've seen a few of those old trucks roaming around. Pretty beat by now.

You can still order them. Not many do or would. But you can still get them.
