    you can blame the big players for that — ATS, Lonestar, Wylie, Melton

    theyve been pulling the rates down to the point where I haven’t pulled a part load outta the Midwest since April

    I knew you quit doing the Otis thing, but didn't realize you left SPD - just thought you were on equipment for them now. Now I know why I didn't see a SPD truck in the port a few weeks back haha.

    Anything new or fairly new? Buddy is looking for a Pete. It's still in insurance companies hands...but he's looking around.

    I haven't really studied on it but I haven't seen anything new. A lot of them are two and three year old trucks and the owners are in hock to banks or finance companies.
    Most of the guys are still at the stage where they can't believe what's happening to them and they're trying to get as much money for their truck as possible. Eventually they'll reach the point where they just dump it to get out from under the debt. It's sad to watch.
    If I see anything that looks good I'll let you know.

    @REO6205
    The company I retired from 1 year, 1 month, 28 days ago is looking for a newish lowbed tractor. Short w/b, big axles, you know the specs. Let me know if you see anything like that too.
