HA! "Winslow stripes", Winn Moore sold trucks in my area for years. Got a quote from him in '93 on a new Pete, but I decided against it. Good man to deal with.

 

I spent yesterday afternoon hanging out with @Ruthless and had a great time.

 

I occupy a small portion of a large heirloom dresser, similar in size to the amount of closet space I have. Not that T-shirts, jeans and a few button up shirts require much space.

Bluestar post a load for a piece of equipment, no tarp. Ohio to CHI for a reasonable rate. Then I find this #### show!!!!

Called the broker and had a very frank conversation... here's the price take it or leave it. I've never walked away from a load I agreed to but no problem doing it today. After she called me back the 3rd time she was finally where I told her I would be. ( 2 days wages!)

I'm 1/2 loaded and waiting on the rental company to being a big enough forklift to the second location to finish loading.

Heard Charlie Daniels yesterday said "if you can't get what you want, then take what you can get and, do the best you can with it."

 

I'm sure it was an unintentional mistake, it's not like a broker or shipper to try and move shop at a single piece rate
