You have to use the spandex tarps to cover that one?

Nope. The fields right next to the bins. Didn't have to tarp. It's good heavy wheat is all I can say.

I'm guessing the dash skeleton/frame is broken.

Looks like dash screws torqued to 450ft/lb might have set that off. Break a couple off they smash themselves up pretty good once stuff goes adrift.

Hauled quite a few of those out of auctions. Ex municipal and utility trucks mostly, and they were usually destroyed inside. Always interesting to see what they had sticking out of the top of the dash to control the blend door with. Coat hanger, braze rod with the flux beat off it, Allen keys and screwdrivers and I don’t know what all. Saw lots of them with that field modification.

See if it was a KW that wouldn't have happened.

Looks like a early 60’s White, with the wrong bumper, wrong grill, and a Peterbilt fuel tank…..

They were an odd unit. Chassis was fine, cab and hood were weaksauce. Hood hinges looked like they'd last all of about a month if you took it off pavement. Trying to shift one with that long shifter with that 2 foot offset bend put in it was always fun too.
