Where is everyone #5

A friend of mine had one of those Mack’s. It was a Mack Canada 75th anniversary special edition. No windows in the bunk, and full of leather and wood inside. Rode nice and a beautiful truck to drive, but I wouldn’t want the job of selling me one of those 427’s. That was an embarrassment.

 

And the bolt on headlights are missing…

 

Got a text this morning that our neighbor has made her journey out of this world as we know it.

she was 96 and ready to be with her husband again, that’s what she prayed for it seems.

Next to my daughter and my wife, she was my biggest fan in a sense. Always watching for my truck to roll back in so she would know I’m ok.

To look across the street and not see her on the porch setting, or sweeping her steps will take time to adjust to.

For the last 16 years I have kept her driveway and sidewalk cleared of snow, and mowed her grass when the usual guy was overloaded with work.

RIP Mrs. Lake, sure gonna miss you….

Coffee drank.
Carburetor rebuilt.
Carburetor reinstalled. Truck runs good again.
More coffee drinking to commence.

Oh yeah when it left the factory it was no ball of fire. They do ride really good though

 

We're just waiting on 1 gasket hopefully it comes today then we can put the trans back in. Should be a little easier going in now that we took the motor mounts off
