My sibling just did theirs and it was just a few day course. The school they went to was a joke and very unprofessional. Encouraged other riders to blast their horns at the slower riders and what not. It was supposed to be a course meant for zero-experience riders and it sounds like they did very little teaching and just yelled at students when they did something wrong. A few in their class actually sold their bikes because the school's attitude wrecked it for them.
I'll probably just buy a bike and teach myself if its going to be a ####-show like that.

I know they made the Classic & Classic XL till MY 2010, but thought '03 was the last year production for 120 aero hood trucks. Big ole spread on the drives..Crusader66, OLDSKOOLERnWV, DeereRunner97 and 10 others Thank this. -

I think both were available. My wife was 10 years ago.
My son has been riding since he was 4 too.
He took a private, 1 on 1 2 hour prep for the test course after 3 months of riding with me.
My son had his test booked prior. He was intending to do the test on the XL250 enduro, but the 6 volt lights were acting up. So he did the test on my 700lb ST1300 and aced it.
Buy a bike. I'm heading on a 3 day butt busting tour of bc in a week or 2. I'll be coming home up thru jasper. You will have it figured by the time we make home. HahaLast edited: Sep 4, 2022

Against my better judgement I got into the flood waters to clean out the culvert that was jambed pack with "stuff". I kept thinking that I would be lucky if I got done with this before getting snake bit. I have never seen a culvert so plugged up a this one was, it took me two hours to get everything out of it and the water flowing freely again. Old man was on the downstream side of the culvert, thankfully. It was after I got out that I saw the only cotton mouth during this entire procedure. With all of the rain we are suppose to get in the coming week, it had to be done, but it sure did knock the wind out of my sails. Nap time I think.
