I've driven a 3 on the tree and no power steering and didn't spill a drop.

I know this will be taken poorly. And I do not agree with it now, nor will I do it. But drunk driving was a taught sport in years past. I was varsity team in my early life. Rual Wisconsin and Ohio have alot of similarities. You only were critiqued if you got caught and everyone did it.

Again, I'm not saying it's right and no longer participate in it.

But have done my share of "checking crops"

Thinking some of the old White tractors had that velvet ride…? First glance look like a walking beam but with a big rubber bunion in the middle…

At a very young age…. I had a 67 F100. 3 in the tree with 6 in a row to make it go.

No power steering or brakes. Drove old roads a few times holding my beer and shifting. It’s a lost art that doesn’t need to be practiced today….

Melt the bees wax in a tin can in boiling water and put the oil in first.

Agree completely. I'm happy to be alive. Took to many chances at young age on 4 and 2 wheels.

Had the same truck in high school. Sure learned how to multi task driving that around with a beer in one hand and a Marlboro in the other.
Been looking for another one the last few years. Finally found a good deal the other day. IMG_20220929_191748670.jpg

Man that’s sharp, I like it!! Congratulations on your find. Mine was a long bed as well but 2 wheel drive. After getting sh !t faced one night and putting mothballs in the gas tank, I Learnt that a 1/2 a box is way to many lol.

Months later bought the engine out of a 1965 Custom, looked kinda like a Galaxy. Put the 289 down in my truck and really liked it.

    Always liked that body style.

Those round defrost ducts were open on top my dash. Coming home one winter Friday night from work, rolling down 64 west, and soon as I was on the Nitro bridge I heard a sound like a 22 rifle.

Didn’t hear anything else so I came on home. Next day I got in my truck and found fragments of colored plastic. I finally figured it out lol, one of those Bic lighters had went down the defrost duct, and it got hot enough it blew up….
