They got a real good heater in em, dang near cook ya out.
I learned my lesson about trying to speed shift a 3 on the tree. Got it stuck in reverse with no tools with at the time. Figured it was only about 3 miles back to the house, I'll just back up instead of walking. Stuck it in the ditch and ended up walking anyway. Got the Farmall and a chain and some tools. Pulled it out, fixed the bent linkage then took tractor home and bummed a ride back to get truck.cke, dwells40, singlescrewshaker and 5 others Thank this. -

@stwik I joke about this but I can not imagine me doing it with my daughter ever. Gramps had alot of 2 seater econline vans or bucket seat elcos. My job was to hold the beer between the seats safe and secure. No seat, and no seat belt even when they were available. My job was to protect and hold the beers and pass them out. No one thought to secure the child! Everyone's dad had a regular cab pickup. After 3, everyone else rode in the bed. We fought to ride in the bed. Beer drinkers had the sliding rear window to pass fresh ones in and empties out. Hell rode 500 miles in Dads pickup with a cap and a sleeping bag. 4 doors were for road crews.
Went to the U/P with my best friend and his family. Regular cab Ford F250 camper in tow. 4 kids 3 adults. They were drinking while packing the camper till we unpacked the camper at home.. His dad was a contractor. Completely normal. -

The old Cabover White we had to spot trailers with for H&W had that suspension. It was fitted with a hydraulic 5th wheel. Thinking it was around a 1968-70 model….cke, jamespmack, MOBee and 7 others Thank this.

Never heard it called interesting, lot's of other names. I drove a White 9000 in the middle 70's and you could run over a dime and tell if it was heads or tails.cke, dwells40, jamespmack and 8 others Thank this.

I don't always process all the information at hand, but my 1st thought is the shop should not have burdened you with that information?
Terrible thing to hear, but sounds like it wasn't your fault by any stretch, & not like you could've done anything to mitigate the accident..
I'm overly superstitious, & depending upon how bad this mans injuries are, that wagon would be on the sale block soon as I could line up a replacement..
Hopefully he will make a speedy recovery..cke, jamespmack, MOBee and 5 others Thank this.
