Where is everyone #5

The day we request “home” is the day their working to get us home. Not the first day of hometime... if you know what I mean.

So I requested the 30th... I spend the 30th bombing ### outta OldSkool territory to Florida. I’ll spend my first day of “hometime” unloading and getting some minor crap fixed before going home...

If the TA over in Wildwood has more than a 2-3 hour wait for a PM/Outside trailer tire I’ll leave and head south...

Yeah I pretty much knew I was screwed once they gave me the aluminum outta Detroit. I was hoping for US Steel outta Portage to South Georgia

Got our deal done. May or may not load this thing for Arkansas after a proper eye lid inspection. Either way it's going to Arkansas.

 

You guys know I've been turning wrenches when I'm home. One customer is a ranch that my wifes dad works for.

Ranch manager tells me his stock trailer has no brakes. Forgets to drop it at my shop and drops it at their shop instead. Pay me hourly plus mileage to go get it. I drag it home to my shop and can't seem to get the brakes to not work. Everything is fine.

When I call him and tell him I can't find the problem I tell him I think the problem might be in the plug on his pickup. He then remembers this is the same thing I told him last year. Now they'll pay hourly plus mileage for me to bring it back. Sometimes I'm amazed at the way people spend money.
