Question for you younger guys:
One of the guys I ride with is a young guy in his 20s who was in an abusive relationship. He’s not a bad looking guy, 5’6 and 160 lbs. He was dating a woman around his age, 3 kids, 5’10 literally over twice his weight, no exaggeration. “Gotta take what you can get, Six.” And she has a foul attitude??? Aim higher.
Well, he met another woman online. This one is non-Yokozuna, (a step in the right direction), mid 40’s, puts the umpy in frumpy, probably around 170 lbs. HERE’S the puzzling part. She rides up on the back of his bike, gets off, walks up to the table where a mid 40’s biker friend and I sat, looks at me, and announces “No, he isn’t getting any Putty!” (the first thought that came to my mind was I WOULD HOPE NOT!)
Why would she say that to me? Any thoughts?Brettj3876, CAXPT, singlescrewshaker and 8 others Thank this. -
That’s another one I would run from.
She has security issues, which is clearly evident by saying something like that to a stranger.CAXPT, singlescrewshaker, D.Tibbitt and 8 others Thank this. -
She is nuts!CAXPT, singlescrewshaker, D.Tibbitt and 6 others Thank this. -
If anyone wonders, a very well optioned, tri drive Star, gravel truck is $381,000 Canadian MSRP.
I upped my order from 2 to 6 of them. I am paying $35,000 less than MSRP.
I could have saved a lot of money per truck by getting less options, these are top of line specs, and same thing with the boxes.
It wouldn't be hard to knock 50k to 70k or more off that, just get less greedy about ticking options.
They are prewired and plumbed for trailers to if you wonder.Last edited: Oct 13, 2022
