This has some very good advantages. With no evidence, no one can prosecute the activities.
Had a conversation with the younger sister of a friend. She was sort of complaining about not getting away with some shenanigans. Told her we had trained her parents well, they knew what you were up to before you even did. She said thats the problem, couldn’t get away with anything.

Heheh, I learned that early on. My mom use to tell me should could tell when I was lying because my ears would turn red. Didn't lie much after that.

Decided to take a long weekend at the home 20. Made my delivery Thursday morning at WTech Steel in Hurst, TX. Had a few small issues when it came time to leave because they no longer had the exit gate open inside that allowed trucks to exit out through the neighbors driveway. Once you pull it to WTech Steel you will have to do some maneuvering to back up and go out through the entrance that you came in to the property.
Had to move some steel out of the way along with another step deck to make room for me to get by and the crew there couldn't figure out why I needed the other truck to move. I tried to explain to them that I was 74' 7" long and this thing does not turn on a dime. What ended up happening was that I made the turn as close as I could get without hitting the steel stacked up and the other truck and then I got out and politely asked them to move again please. There are some moments in trucking that I wish people would take my expertise and knowledge into consideration instead of just guessing on their part. I know how long my equipment is. I know what it takes to turn this thing around. If I say I cannot make a turn it's because I have been in this situation before and I know the outcome already dangit.
Oh well. I made it home Thursday in time to pick my little boy up from school and go get ice cream. Also took my wife car shopping yesterday and came home with a new Grand Cherokee for her. We are enjoying Oktoberfest today in Waxahachie TX so if anyone wants to stop by the St. Joseph Catholic Church for Oktoberfest you are welcome. Be safe y'all. I'll be back on that big road come Monday.Last edited: Oct 15, 2022

I'll have to catch up in time. Finished a short week at 4 1/2 days 1.694 million pound moved, they were not ready Monday. All to lay on shop floor and play with a caterpillar. Completely worth it.
