The sleeper from the donor truck has nice interior still, it’s one of the things I kept for a future project build of my own….

Donor truck was actually built for colder climates like Canada, including the breather system and had Canadian spread on the drive axles. It was a 1981 model, my buddy bought it when it was 3 months old. The radiator is an 8 core…. Think about that a minute.

Buy a truck. Hole lotta guys on here everyday, less qualified than you!

I was just offered a job wrenching full time. One, my banker has not demanded it, Two I dont know if I could. Im so outdated with new trucks. I just could careless about them.

I've actually been looking. Prices are stupid high for service trucks right now. $50k would be lucky to get you a 17 year old F-550 with 400k km on it. When prices come down I'll consider parking one in the back yard and pick away at fixing it up. Maybe try and find a consistent weekend gig to get my name out there before I dive in.

I found a way. I'm definitely not certian I would recommend my way tho.
On the plus side I have 2.5 complete sets of tools at home, plus my travel packs

I'm most certainly not qualified or capable of doing what you do. I couldn't deal with even just regular kids, much less the batch you volunteered for. I can definitely respect you for doing what you do.
