It was 43 yesterday, -2 today.

 

I got out of the plains just in time . That cold weather is brutal

 

-31 windchill currently. It normally doesn't bother me much. But I have zero plans of going outside today.


Well except the beer is in the shop, not house. Rookie mistake on my part.

 

Mom calls me on the walkie-talkie yesterday morning around 5am. Freaking out! She's looking at the weather on her tablet- not above zero and minus numbers all next week. Wha? It's still going to be cold but not what my forecast says don't panic ma something's not right.
She calls me back later- "I must have pushed the C button, I put it back on F and it looks a little better"

 

“Gaslighting?”

Went to a truckstop, walked inside at 12:30am. Decided that I wanted a steakNcheese from Subway. There was a Willy working behind the counter, cleaning up. The sign said, “Open til 1am.”

Six: Are you closed?
Willy: Yes. Sorry dude.

Got what I needed, went out to the truck, forgot something and came back in. Went to the fuel desk. Current time is 12:49am.

Driver: Subway’s closed?
Cashier: It’s 1am.
Six: ??? They closed at 12:30
Mgr: No sir, Subway closes at 1am.
Six: I went by at 12:30, and they were closed for business.
(Willy is standing behind the fuel desk now)
Mgr: No sir, you are mistaken, they close at 1.
Driver: They’re closed now.
Cashier: It’s 1am.
Six: It’s 12:50 am.
Willy: Do we really want to do this?
Six: Do what?

 

Have a truck down in new town North Dakota.

 

I'd rather sweat than shiver ANY day. I hate having layers and layers of clothes on.

 

What’s with Alfredo? Don’t like or ?

 

I really like it. Just not when restaurants try to use warm white water as Alfredo sauce.
