How does that work legally if you have 40 or 46 rears and you have 53k on them. Just wondering since I have no clue about the heavy haul side

Lol, well, actually this is my customers trailer, he wants me to move those 336 cats for him. It will take a trailer like this to do it. They weigh over 80,000 each…

you may have to haul it boom forward to get some weight off the drives. That trailer doesn’t stretch does it?

No it doesn’t, it has a 26’ foot well which is a plus as far as transferring weight backwards.

The owner said they weigh about 74,000 each but he was wrong….

I put one on the 3 axle trailer and went and scaled it, with a 42” bucket it weighed 86,300 lbs. I couldn’t do anything with it. With 1/4 tank of fuel my empty weight was 40,740 I scaled over 120,000…..

$$$$$. Not allowed over 34,000, but you give them $$$ and it suddenly becomes ok lol.

Sadly each state has its own laws and regulations when it comes to heavier loads.

Here in WV on 5 axles I can get a permit up to 104,000.
But in Kentucky on the same 5 axles I can only permit up to 96,000. And over 120,000 is considered a super load and requires a different permit as well as escorts.

Little more to it but that’s kind of a rough idea…..

10-4. You posted that pic of one on that 3-axle trailer awhile back, figured that's what you hauled them with.

Delivered this one today, it weighed over 75K. About all the 3 axle is good for as far as weight goes….
