Well it appears I may be going over to the dark side.

Might be swapping tracks for tires, we shall see.

Located where I am this is like having a money printing press in the back of the service truck. Big initial $ to get set up and not even close to all the hose, fittings, etc. to cover everything.

It's almost the same price to buy the Dynacraft hoses I need from Peterbilt than the fittings cost alone. New owners of the hose shop I've used for years don't want to mess with air brake lines anymore, so they don't stock many fittings now. No kidding on the big initial $$$. Hydraulic hose and fittings is kind of crazy expensive to be well stocked. It would cost me $5-10k just to be able to make the few common hoses that I need every few years.

@jamespmack what drive tires did you end up going with? And how do they feel so far. It's about time for 8 new ones. Don't know what we're gonna get. Had good luck with iron Man's all wore down evenly.

Gonna do what you did and mount them ourselves

What type of suspension is that. It looks similar to the Hendrickson HAS Z spring these Mack's have. Nice riding

Paccar low low air leaf. I never looked at Mack stuff, but it's really close. Looks like Mack uses same spring on both front and rear drives, paccar has 2 different springs -

My favorite ride is Flex air, but there's a lot more bushings/wear items. I would think it would be harder to keep aligned?

Yeah they use the same spring on front and rear. This is what the 99 has.

The 93 is almost the same except instead of that plate going across the bottom it has 2 tubes that act like a anti sway bar. It actually rides smoother than the 99 and has a bit more suspension travel

Well when your trucking buddy wants to listen to the same song at least 5 times, it could be annoying. But I felt I must be doing something right.
