Wrenching. Although there's an outfit nearby paying $350/day to haul water in a straight tridrive tanker that looks tempting. $500/day to run a hydrovac, which I've done and it kinda sucks lol.

    My condolences Jim.
Haha yeah the vac truck sucks and is super boring. Sometimes the money just isn't worth it

Hydrovac is even worse. You're cutting up ground with a hot water pressure washer and sucking it into the tank. I survived 3 days on a hydrovac about 14 years ago lol. I was on a sister unit to this one.

What are you going to do when she says that she’s going to be a trucker just like dad?

Have a long time acquaintance, been in and around tires most of his life. Don’t know how much truth is in this, but have no reason to not believe it. Long story short, they have started selling Double Coin tires. Claims they come out of the same factory that makes the Asian Michelins.

That's one I can't tell you about. Been 10 years since I was overly involved. They were first class garbage back then.

Back then Michelin made all kinds of tires. They will make and quality and standards too. But it will not say Michelin unless its thier standards. That was a big deal with Sears, they wanted a lower grade Michelin to sell. They declined.

Sorry to hear that Jim. I know we aren’t close, but for what it’s worth I hold you in high regard and have nothing but respect for you and yours.

They had quite a fleet going before they went under about 12 years ago, couple hundred trucks.
