No, after the welding process, it would be rebalanced and polished as necessary.

If you do an internet search on refurbished crankshaft or camshaft, you will find a number of videos that show how it’s done. When done by a quality shop, they can be as good, or better than a factory piece.

 

Hmmmm.....have been thinking of an RV...cab's nice, what's the RV part look like? Wife won't let me have it, but just curious.
