That's a man sized meal for certain! Beers, & dessert I understand. As a fellow with no knowledge about wines, I may have run a question or 3 by ya had I been seated nearby.. lol

They've got a good sized parking lot. Can guess it was a good place to lay up with a long wide heavy load after coming across i80.? I shot some 106 odd miles down 47. Got some 17.5" wagon tires to play with today.. 20230331_165407.jpg

That's actually only the 2nd or 3rd time I've eaten at R Place. Weather dependent, I walk to the Chili's. Very happy with the R yesterday..

I used to do the cruise ship thing years ago. 10 cruises in 12 years. The big ships are awesome. Mini golf, skeet shooting, rock climbing…etc. They also had wine tastes onboard. You would try 40 reds, 40 white, and 20 champagnes. There were these tables set up with mountains of fresh fruits and cheeses to eat with the wines. They would give out info on every wine, from the location to the alkaline in the soil. After they explained it, you could honestly learn to tell where the grapes were grown by the taste of the wine. Sounds snooty, right?

Walked to the Chili’s also. Getting out of the truck usually means that I don’t want to talk trucking. There’s much less chance happening when you have to walk across a highway from a truck stop.

@Brettj3876. The pad is down unexpectedly till at least Monday morning. I’m gonna get some sleep. If you aren’t busy later or need a hand doing something….anything. Or just wanna meet a fellow TTR fella and shoot the ####, I will buy the beer and smokes. This Flying J is gonna get old real quick.

You are NEPA famous on TTR so I want an autograph on an authentic Flying J wolf T shirt.

The ground was getting soft under the dance floor and apparently the weight of the forklift snapped a rig mat. So they have to pull all the mats out and fix the ground.

We were most likely going to be shut down anyways due to the wind. Every pad from here to Ohio has been down today.

Let me know. I love breakfast….well any meal really.
