Luckily the neighbor (who has a 7.3 powerstroke that I fixed last week for him) is a welder. -
Sorry I didn't see your question earlier. I was a little worried about the steel tracks on such a heavy and somewhat compact piece of equipment. I went really slow when I got on to the deck and I hopped out for a quick inspection of the aluminum and wood and the only thing I found were some slight depression's in the wood and not a single mark on the aluminum. Quite surprised at how well the tracks disperse the weight.

1/4 inch plywood cut in 12 to 16 inch width is a great way to protect aluminum decking under tracked equipment while adding friction.Last edited: Apr 11, 2023
