We used to make it at my cousin. Started with cream from the milk house. I completely know what that tastes like. Not much is the same.
Also some reason the homemade ice cream tasted better. But maybe because your arm was worn out passing that wood box around. Had to have a pretty good size party to get the Ice cream. Needed the people. Or maybe that was how they put us kids to sleep, idk.

Butter on popcorn is very good.

4 pancakes, a slather of butter between each, a few strips of Bacon on top, then 2 over medium eggs on top of it all. A little maple syrup on the side.Flint1, cke, Big Road Skateboard and 3 others Thank this.

Same, but the eggs and bacon on the side, and a slab of butter and maple syrup between each layer.
However, to keep it light, I've been preferring Waffles made that way instead, making sure to butter each little square..and then pour on the syrup. That butter syrup mix is delicious. )

Pop it in bacon grease in cast-iron.Flint1, CAXPT, singlescrewshaker and 2 others Thank this. -
This is one of those food things that I'm not sure many of you guys have experienced. But if you get the chance bring the butter, syrup & fruit preserves / jam along and get to eating. If I were to imagine eating a cloud, this is what it'd be like... and if you're not keeping score you could eat 20 of them before you realize ya did!

1st pic is correct, only cost me 270.00 to have a guy bring 4 1/2"x3" bolts out and watch me put it back together. I feel that i paid to educate thier "technician" Funny thing, I was nextdoor to a Case Construction shop. They told me they only carried grade 5 bolts. That was really more concerning than my situation. Oh well. Heading for the ranch.OLDSKOOLERnWV, D.Tibbitt, Big Road Skateboard and 8 others Thank this. -
