I was out checking the fence line and jawing with my neighbor that has about a dozen longhorns. He said they switched to raising them because Longhorn beef is really low in cholesterol. I did not know that.

Drove down to the local cafe and then hit the highway for a few miles. Aside from the steering wheel being a tad off center its good. Guess if I have to pay $175 for a wheel alignment I may as well do the other side, the tie rods and the sway bar bushings next weekend. I don't think I'm going to hurt the tires too much driving 200 km to work and back over the next week.

See, I was not following because I had not read all the posts. That's on me.

I agree, I dropped everything but beer years ago. Black coffee and water, cook for myself 95% of the time. Gym 1-4 times a week, depends on work and kid schedule.

However, Beer. I like beer. Even if it's just one, ill pick a beer over pop/soda/water everytime. I like the taste of it.

Pizza, love it. I'll try any, my go to to test a new place. If they are in the pizza business, I will judge them off of it.

With that said, ordering pizza was the extent of effort my exwife put into making dinner. I have now returned to the idea that it's a treat for every now and then. Not a staple of dinning. I stick to beef, chicken, and fish here at home. Make left overs for in the truck the next day. Guess I need to start treating beer that way. Not grabbing one, or six after work.

Oh well, I'm down 20lbs from my heaviest ever, BP is down, and legs and arms are taking shape well. Just had to learn to workout like a guy in his 40's.

However, I find having a quiet peaceful home has done more good than anything.

About 7 years ago I slimmed down from 230 to 148. I gradually built up muscle to become decently built at about 175.

Since moving out of the city last year I haven't been hitting the gym as hard. Ended up buying a bench and a rack off Amazon since I just didn't have the time to drive a half hour one way to the gym after work.

I slacked really bad from last fall until about January and ended up at around 200 lbs. I got the heavy bag set up in my gym and started trying to get a routine going again. I just stepped on the scale today and I'm 188. This new job has helped a lot, there's much more movement involved than just standing at a table rebuilding components. Also been trying to make a habit of running 4 miles twice a week if the weather is good and getting 3-4 hours in on the heavy bag and weights.

Drove past one of the local car lots today. Brand new pickup sitting out front, doesn't look like anything special, just your average 4x4 half ton.

"$245 weekly + tax for 72 months" was decaled on the side. I did the math, $80,000.

Suddenly $400 for wheel bearings doesn't look too bad.

It is a reserve east of Fort Vermillion, north west of Fort Mackay. The reserve is only road access over the fox lake ferry over the Peace river

You may find that your steering wheel will straighten out when you do the other side but a wheel alignment is a good idea. You can do a rough toe in with a tape measure and a couple 1 meter straight edges.

See I'm used to Chevys. They adjust the camber on the upper control arms. Ford does it on the lower arms. I had to slack off the lower control arm bolts so I could swing the arm down to get the strut out since it blocked the upper control arm bolts. My garage is only lit by three 100W bulbs so I couldn't see that my control arm moved outward about 1/8 inch. I actually just did a rough re-alignment in the driveway by matching up the old bolt marks on the frame and now the steering wheel is almost perfect. Good enough for a week or 2 anyways.

Few years ago I bought a Chevy 2500 single cab 8 ft bed work truck for $2500. Now, I can’t find a replacement truck to abuse cheaper than $15k. Look at this fine specimen of a truck. A wrecked 1994.
