Where is everyone #5

Here’s the problem I see:

The plan was dinner at an upscale restaurant/bar. Food is great, but for 2 people, you’re looking at $200 minimum. No big deal, right? Girlie was 2 hours late. Bet she had another date. And that guy didn’t even bother to take her to McDonalds for an order of fries. She was hungry.

LittleBrother is young, but he’s old school in his approach. You literally can’t do that and show a girl a nice time on a first date, because she will view you as weak.

 

Absolutely agree, I had a similar situation years ago. She was hours late for a weekend trip. Well, guess who missed the trip? Not me.

In the rookie section, on the being late thread, one of the older guys asks if you ever ask a woman why she’s late. I thought about answering, but I didn’t. The answer is NO, you bet all in for her to be late and make your plans regardless of anything she does.

Shes going to be late.
She’s going to try to change some detail of the plan.
She’s going to back out at the last moment.

Had a niece approach me about lunch at one of my watering holes since she had just turned 21. Okay, Sunday at 1 pm. See you there. I would be there REGARDLESS. I am always there at that time. We set the date a week in advance, because she ‘likes to make plans in advance.’ Sure kid. Saturday, she sends me a text asking if we could postpone til 3. I don’t respond.

My youngest sister asked me how lunch went. Great. She asks if my niece had a nice time. I don’t know. “You didn’t call her, Six?” Why should I call? Women will make plans, and then plan to be late, then see if you are cool with that and then change plans at the last moment. If you are cool with that, they will cancel. So, if you have a woman make plans with you, do you and don’t worry about her.

“You don’t know that Six, every woman doesn’t do that. You don’t know all women.”

I know a week in advance where I will eat lunch on Sunday.

 

Right on! They're building warehouses like crazy all around that neighborhood. Our barn is about half a mile away.

I'll be heading out early under the cover of darkness, maybe I'll see ya!

Them boys are still watching the southbound coop on i35 just south the IA line. I'm gonna kick it here & roll early while they're still sleepy.. lol

Wall gotta go in order, I'm 11:02am apt. So I'll be at that fly'n hook for wait'n my turn I guess??

 

Just outside Blackstone, VA. Gonna deliver some HumVees in the mornin to Fort Pickett. Traffic today reminded me why I like it out west, and made me question some of you'ns sanity.

Not an east coast fan either, but your talking to a guy the loads Chicagoland & delivers Miami area all too often. It sucks for sure.. lol

Haven't been north of i26 on i95 in almost 2yrs. Try'n to keep it that way..
