Well thought I'd let you all know, trucking finally made me rich:)
Hope all are well and safe. Still glad to be home. I shoulda been a rigger. But not a trucker. F that LoL. Been home over a year and still appreciate every morning waking up in the same place

Don’t spend it all in one place.

Reminds me about 16 years ago when I was working for Werner. Few years after I quit I received a check in the mail. Apparently there were weeks I made less than minimum wage and was part of a class action thing and didn’t even know it. If I remember right it was like $47 lol.

I like the analogy. When I do vertical welds, it's more like the guy in the middle chugs it all and blows chunks.

Exactly. I pulled a box for western express for about 3 weeks before I went to flatbed. Guess I was underpaid about 3$ a week. Pretty sure I got about 300$ a week at some convoluted pay scale thing. It is as good tho, gave me the guts to try securement. Which turned out to be the best decision I made during my midlife crisis.

Also...if any of you are of the prayer persuasion, buddy of mine just left his job pulling containers because his company couldn't manage to keep his truck up and running...so he went home thinking he'd look around for a more local gig... next day his dad tells him he's got mesothelioma.
So any extra thoughts and prayers for Mark and Mark senior would be appreciated.
