You are 100%. I been hitting the gym pretty well for 8 months. Long way to go. With that said, I normally don't talk to anyone because these reasons. I zone everything out. But can't help and notice the 22yo girl in 500.00 worth of workout cloths taking selfies and doing a nickels worth of exercise. While I'm older and do not work out the same as I did. I still recall the basics. I really wanted to go tell this young woman, that doing lat pull downs she should not look like she is riding a bull. The jerking,leaning back method is not recommended unless you want your spine fused together later in life. That is when I went back in my head and finished my leg presses. This lady had no interest in doing it properly. Non of my business. I think it's more social event for most. I'm just prolonging death.

Loose weight, get some muscle back some what like a younger Jim, lower BP, live longer for daughter, have a healthy hobby. I feel alot better. Used to be a fit and slim guy. I never felt that I lost strength. Just lost endurance. I've put off knee surgery since high school. I've improved the stability in my left knee since I restart. I have been extremely hard on my body since a child.

Safety bars on my rack at home suck so I tend to stay sub-200 on bench and don't chance trying to squeeze in one last rep.
